Avissa Mojtahedi, founder of NYC Apartment Design, is a licensed real estate salesperson with Christie’s International Real Estate Group.

This dual perspective allows us to guide clients through the process of searching for and securing a home - whether purchasing or renting - with a design-led approach from the beginning. We search for your new space together, considering not only what a property is, but what it can become.

Each property is evaluated with your lifestyle in mind — including how you live day to day, your preferred layout and flow, and the overall look and feel you’re after. Existing pieces are also taken into account, with scale and placement considered during property visits to ensure a cohesive fit.

Throughout the process, we help refine options and support decision-making with both design and long-term value in mind.

Design Packages

For clients seeking a deeper collaboration, we offer full-service interior design through our sister studio, Avissa Design. We work on primary residences, pied-à-terres, and select apartment renovations with an architectural lens. Projects may include considered space planning, custom furnishings, millwork concepts, and vendor coordination as part of a tailored design scope.
